The SSPA series of amplifiers operate in the S-Band with power levels up to 300 Watts (peak). Typical applications include oncology treatment, electronic pasteurization, and X-Ray cargo inspection.Comtech series of SSPAs for S-Band have power levels of 240 to 300 Watts peak. The Class C amplifiers are designed for a maximum power output and maximum AC to RF efficiency with minimal size. Typically used as driver amplifiers for Krystron PA’s within a linear accelerator.
